We are seeking a highly qualified Bio Patent Counseling Associate with 4+ years of experience to join our prestigious law firm's Intellectual Property group. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with top industry clients in the life sciences sector and handle their most critical patent development, protection, and enforcement matters. As a Bio Patent Counseling Associate, you will be responsible for representing pre-public and discovery stage biotechnology pharmaceutical companies, as well as established, publicly traded international pharmaceutical companies in worldwide patent portfolio development. This includes prosecution and counseling, due diligence, transactions, and infringement defense and avoidance. You will also have the opportunity to provide non-infringement and invalidity analysis, post-grant proceedings, and IP due diligence for our clients.

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a . in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline and be registered to practice before the USPTO. Prior experience representing biotech companies and investors in strategic international patent portfolio development and life cycle management is also required, and prior pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
