Job Title: Experienced Litigation Associate Attorney
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Experience: Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience

Rhoades McKee, a nationally-recognized law firm, is currently seeking an experienced litigation associate to join our thriving litigation practice group. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for an individual with a proven track record of handling disputes from initial client interviews through dispute resolution, and who can work independently or with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of civil litigation experience and be licensed (or willing and able to become licensed) to practice law in the state of Michigan.

Responsibilities:

- Handle civil litigation matters for individuals and businesses in mediations, arbitrations, and lawsuits in State and Federal courts throughout Michigan.
- Work with the firm's corporate, real estate, and probate attorneys on dispute resolution and interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide regular updates on case progress.
- Manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
- Licensed (or willing and able to become licensed) and in good standing to practice law in the state of Michigan.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
- Proven track record of handling disputes from initial client interviews through dispute resolution.
- Transferable book of business is not necessary but would be considered positively.
