As a Compliance Manager at Elevance Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will be responsible for managing various compliance initiatives and projects, conducting audits and investigations, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, and the opportunity to work in a hybrid workplace model. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee various compliance projects and initiatives, such as regulatory audits, internal audits, and risk assessments. • Conduct investigations, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are taken. • Interface with external clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders. • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and consult with clients as a subject matter expert. • Develop project plans, gap analysis, and milestone dates. • Provide leadership updates and communicate with high-level management. • Conduct mock audits and provide audit training. • Assess audit preparedness and manage audit evidence preparation. • Conduct risk assessments and establish project plans. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field. • Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy. • Familiarity with laws governing the healthcare and insurance industry. • Strong writing skills. • Legal training or experience researching and analyzing federal or state laws. • Regulatory change management experience. • MS/MBA/JD or professional designation preferred.
