Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for defending and prosecuting lawsuits involving various employment-related claims. Additionally, they will provide legal counsel to employers on labor and employment laws and regulations.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing a broad spectrum of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in various legal settings, including courtrooms, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations in matters about employment law.
• Offer advice and counsel to employers concerning labor and employment laws, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably with a background in employment law.
• Active admission to the Nebraska Bar or the ability to obtain admission promptly.
• Familiarity with current court procedures and employment-related agency protocols at state and federal levels.
