Position Summary:

Deloitte Tax LLP (Deloitte Tax) is currently seeking a Tax Senior to join our Business Tax Services (BTS) practice, which provides tax services to clients in over 150 countries and regions worldwide. This role will specifically focus on serving renewable energy clients who develop, build, own, and operate renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability and renewable energy and be willing to learn and adapt to the growing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in a rapidly growing practice.

Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on tax issues related to renewable energy projects
- Work closely with an experienced team and collaborate with colleagues across all member firms
- Identify and advise clients on potential benefits and eligibility requirements for various renewable energy tax credits
- Prepare tax returns and provide advisory services related to renewable energy tax equity structures
- Maintain and develop strong internal and client relationships
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments and present potential opportunities to assist clients
- Support various internal initiatives and special tax projects

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, business administration, economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a related field
- Ability to travel up to 25%, as needed
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate with others
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Active CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or other relevant certifications preferred
- Advanced degree (Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM) a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new solutions
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA or law firm experience preferred

Salary Information:

- The disclosed wage range for this role is $63,420 to $144,300, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, and certifications.
- Eligible for participation in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules and individual performance.
