Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders involved in personal injury cases.
• Take and defend depositions to gather evidence and testimonies crucial to case development.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Lead mediations to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes outside of court when possible.
• Develop comprehensive case strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Represent clients in trials, presenting arguments and evidence to support their claims.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar.
• Proficient in drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
