Job Overview:

The law firm is seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Technology Specialist to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in drafting patent applications for innovative clients, corresponding with patent offices, advising patent litigation teams, and contributing to the firm's success in the field of intellectual property law. The candidate should have a strong background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, possess extensive experience in Machine Learning, and demonstrate proficiency in implementing ML concepts in hardware.

Job Details:

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, including comprehensive descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with the patent office regarding pending patent applications.
• Provide technical and scientific expertise to patent litigation teams based on the candidate's area of specialization.
• Conduct interviews with inventors to gather information about new ideas.

Requirements:

• Strong background in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive experience in Machine Learning, including neural networks (NN) and deep learning algorithms.
• Implementation experience of ML/NN concepts in hardware.
• Advanced degree in a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of patent prosecution experience.
• Superior writing skills with excellent academic credentials.
• Registration before the . Patent & Trademark Office is preferred.
