Responsibilities:
- Support the company’s data privacy and data security programs
- Develop, update, and maintain policies and procedures related to data privacy, data security, export control, and intellectual property
- Keep current with new laws, regulations, and developments in the privacy area
- Provide advice on the impact of these laws, regulations, and developments on the company’s products and services
- Assist with corporate governance and legal compliance support for the company and its international subsidiaries
- Provide legal support for potential M&A opportunities
- Provide risk assessment of contract terms and conditions and offer alternative approaches to mitigate risk
- Work closely with other attorneys and the Contract Management team

Required Skills:

- 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in-house and in support of telecommunications, information services, or technology software and services businesses
- Knowledge and experience analyzing and applying federal, state, and global laws related to data privacy and data security, including regulations and requirements such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
- Experience providing general legal support and advice with respect to corporate compliance, governance, contracts, intellectual property, and/or export control preferred
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and drafting skills
- Ability to quickly absorb new concepts and comprehend complex financial and business concepts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- High energy, self-starter with a “can-do” attitude and strong drive for results
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- US Citizenship required
