Responsibilities:
- Establish accounts for scheduled patients and obtain accurate demographic and insurance information
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collaborate with Case Management to ensure correct patient status and documentation
- Provide financial counseling to patients and collect payment
- Adhere to third party payer requirements and communicate Medicare requirements, HIPAA compliance, and reimbursement criteria

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of experience in healthcare field, including medical office insurance/front desk, hospital registration, or hospital business office (billing or collections)
- Certification as a Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) required
