• Zero to five years of transactional experience
• A strong interest in community development transactions utilizing NMTCs, HTCs, and/or RETCs
• Experience with NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs is helpful but not required
• Commercial real estate experience, commercial lending experience, structured finance and/or general federal income tax experience would also be well-suited for this position
• Active license
• Superior academic performance
• Excellent writing and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on community development transactions utilizing NMTCs, HTCs, and/or RETCs
• Negotiate complex transactions with parties on both sides of the table
• Draft and review legal documents related to transactions
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Attend meetings, court hearings, and other legal proceedings
