- Provide guidance and advice to clients on import and export matters in a variety of industries
- Research and analyze complex customs, tariffs, and international trade issues to deliver effective solutions to clients
- Identify and communicate compliance risks and cost-saving opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 6 years of import/export experience in a professional services firm, law firm, corporate, or government setting
- Active Customs Broker License, empowered official, JD and passed the Bar exam, CPA, or Master's degree in a related field
- Technical knowledge and experience in export controls and sanctions, customs valuation, classification, origin, marking, entry, Incoterms, trade agreements, and special programs
- Fluency in English, proficiency in another major language preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting corporate clients with their customs, tariffs, and international trade planning and compliance. You will work with both . and international companies, helping them navigate through complex trade requirements and identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings.

As a Manager in our Trade Advisory Services team, you will have the opportunity to develop, position, sell, and deliver value-added services while also guiding and coaching staff to professional growth. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and engage with clients to support practice growth and ensure service satisfaction. Additionally, you will have the chance to identify and pursue opportunities in areas such as international tax, state and local tax, VAT, internal audit, and transfer pricing.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of import/export experience and a strong understanding of customs, tariffs, and international trade regulations. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an active Customs Broker License or other relevant certification is preferred.
