Summary:

- Senior Paralegal position available in the Legal Operations and Shared Services team
- Responsible for handling bankruptcy cases for healthcare and PBM clients, contracted providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies
- Must be able to work independently in a time-sensitive environment
- Familiarity with bankruptcy proceedings, contracts, and funding arrangements required
- Hybrid role requiring 50% in-office work, with locations in Philadelphia, Connecticut, or St. Louis
- Minimum 8 years of paralegal experience in bankruptcy required, insurance background a plus
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or similar field preferred
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail

Responsibilities:

- Notify business contacts of bankruptcies filed by clients or contracted providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies
- Develop strategies to handle issues during bankruptcy proceedings and minimize the need for outside counsel
- Monitor bankruptcy dockets and review filings
- Gather relevant documentation from internal sources
- Draft and file proofs of claim
- Work with outside counsel and provide support as needed
- Compile and report metrics related to bankruptcy matters
- Implement operational procedures to increase efficiency

Qualifications:

- Minimum 8 years of paralegal experience in bankruptcy
- Insurance background preferred
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or similar field preferred
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with bankruptcy proceedings, contracts, and funding arrangements
- Hybrid role requiring 50% in-office work, with locations in Philadelphia, Connecticut, or St. Louis
