This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package, including 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA accredited law school and be admitted to the state bar association. They should have 2+ years of experience in general corporate/business law, with a focus on entity formation, contract negotiation, and ideally, transactional experience. Experience with trademark applications is a plus. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills are a must, as well as exceptional project management abilities and the ability to work well in a team setting. In this role, the attorney will be responsible for negotiating and drafting acquisition, joint venture, and other corporate transactional documents. They will also need to have the ability to interpret and analyze complex transactions. This position will require in-person work at the firm's office in Asheville, NC, so candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
