Meyers Nave, a highly respected midsize law firm with four offices in California, is seeking an experienced Eminent Domain Attorney to join our Trial and Litigation Practice Group. This position is open to candidates with seven or more years of experience, and is available in our San Diego, Los Angeles or Oakland office.

Salary Information and Benefits:

- Salary range of $175,000 - $260,000

Job Title: Eminent Domain Attorney – 7+ Years of Experience

Experience Requirements:

- Seven or more years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on Eminent Domain or real estate/real property
- Excellent academic credentials
- Outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities
- Superior research and writing skills
- Strong work ethic
- Proven ability to work in teams
- Interest in elevating the Meyers Nave brand and reputation
- Significant experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions
- Prior experience in building a case for trial, including developing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and taking and defending depositions

Responsibilities:

- Handle high profile and high stakes matters for both public entities and private sector clients
- Engage in all phases of litigation from initial pleadings through discovery, dispositive motion practice, trial, and appeal
- Assist public entities in obtaining parcels of land for large transportation and infrastructure projects
- Work with a team of attorneys to build cases for trial and develop evidence
- Conduct interviews with witnesses and take and defend depositions
