A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Antitrust Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working at the Department of Justice Antitrust Division (DOJ) or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), or experience working on DOJ or FTC antitrust matters. Experience in civil conduct, merger and joint venture analysis and investigations, and litigating antitrust matters is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a track record of insightful research and analysis, are essential.

 

Duties:

  • Handle civil conduct, merger, and joint venture analysis and investigations
  • Litigate antitrust matters, including drafting substantive motions and briefs
  • Participate in depositions, witness preparation, and interviews
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust issues
  • Draft memoranda, reports, and client communications
  • Provide strategic advice and counseling to clients on antitrust compliance
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and development
  • Assist with client development and relationship management efforts

 

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in antitrust law
  • Experience working at the DOJ Antitrust Division or the FTC preferred
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Bar membership in DC in good standing

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Active Bar membership in DC in good standing
