Associate Attorney for Creditors’ Rights Law Firm in Atlanta, GA

Brock & Scott, PLLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all legal processes from inception through post judgment remedies. We are looking for someone who is able to handle a high volume caseload while maintaining our core values of high quality work, effective communication, and ownership.

Job Title: Associate Attorney
Location: Atlanta, GA
Experience: 0-3 years
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities:

- Provide high quality legal representation to clients
- Create fair payment solutions for customers while treating them with fairness and respect
- Handle a high volume caseload and provide expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks
- Negotiate with opposing counsel to reach final resolution of cases
- Travel to various courts within the state of Georgia, if needed, for legal representation and court hearings
- Report all activity and results to the Managing Attorney

Requirements:

- 0-3 years of experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation
- . from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law in Georgia
- In-depth knowledge of Federal Debt Collection Law and State civil litigation laws
- Skilled in analyzing case law and providing recommendations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
