Summary:
The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is seeking Assistant Attorneys General (AAGs) to join their Child Support Division (CSD) in Abilene, Texas. This role involves representing the State of Texas in legal proceedings to establish paternity, obtain financial support and health care coverage for children, and enforce and modify child support orders. AAGs will also have the opportunity to promote responsible parenting and collaborate with other state agencies and community organizations. This position offers a healthy work-life balance, hands-on legal experience, and the chance to make a positive difference in the lives of Texas families. The OAG is a dynamic state agency with over 4,000 employees and offers excellent benefits and opportunities for growth. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, a Juris Doctor (.) degree, and be licensed as an attorney by the State of Texas.
