Job Title: Commercial Counsel

Experience: 3+ years of in-house experience at a medical device or life sciences company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Draft, negotiate, and advise on a variety of legal and contractual matters for the company's medical device business.
- Provide guidance to commercial business partners on activities such as marketing, sales, and compliance with regulations.
- Identify and assess legal risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage implementation of processes for compliance with federal reporting requirements.
- May provide counsel on privacy, advertising, employment, and immigration law.
- Manage outside counsel for designated legal matters.

Education & Experience:

- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in any state.
- 3+ years of in-house experience at a medical device or life sciences company.

Required Qualifications:

- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret regulations and implement requirements.
- Independent and analytical thinking.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and contract law.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Physical Demands:

- Requires use of hands and ability to see, listen, and speak.
