Job Title: Associate Attorney

Experience: 0-2 years in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation

Location: Richmond, VA (Remote position)

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all legal processes from inception through post judgment remedies
- Provide high-quality legal representation to clients
- Treat all customers with fairness and respect while finding fair payment solutions
- Handle a high-volume caseload and provide expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks
- Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases
- Travel to various courts within the state of Virginia, if needed, for legal representation and court hearings
- Work with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results

Qualifications:

- 0-2 years of experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation
- . from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law in VA
- In-depth knowledge of Federal Debt Collection Law and State civil litigation laws
- Skilled in analyzing case law and providing recommendations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
