The Role:

As a Labor and Employment Attorney at Lozano Smith, you will play a critical role in representing our clients in a wide range of labor and employment matters. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic legal guidance, advocating for our clients' interests, and handling a diverse caseload. This is a fast-paced and challenging position that requires a high level of expertise and dedication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in labor and employment matters, with a focus on education institutions and public agencies
- Provide strategic legal guidance and counsel to clients
- Handle a diverse caseload, including employment discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and labor negotiations
- Advocate for clients' interests in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Stay up-to-date on labor and employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop strategies and solutions for clients
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California
- 5+ years of experience in labor and employment law
- Experience representing education institutions and public agencies preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a high caseload
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients
