International Tax Managing Director - Asset Management Focus

- Responsible for growing the International Tax practice and building relationships with clients and prospects
- Must have marketable technical skills and a proven track record of being a problem solver and maintaining key client relationships
- Expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Develops, recommends, and implements practical international tax consulting ideas for clients
- Ensures compliance with firm policy for Written Tax Advice (WTA)
- Identifies and resolves complex taxation issues by applying multiple tax functional specialties
- Acts as industry expert and . resource for tax matters with selected foreign jurisdictions
- Manages international tax services for assigned clients and assesses appropriate pricing structure
- Exhibits thought leadership and is recognized as industry go-to person in International Tax
- Works with partners and business development managers to develop and execute marketing plans
- Identifies complex situations requiring research and prepares detailed reports and Written Tax Advice (WTA)
- Conducts detailed review of international tax aspects for client engagements and identifies opportunities for tax alerts
- Represents clients in front of . tax authorities on contested international tax issues
- Applies standards and policies for ASC 740-10 and reviews international aspects of tax provisions
- Supervises and mentors tax professionals, providing performance feedback and evaluations
- Must have a Bachelor's degree, ., LLM, and/or MST/MBT preferred
- Requires 10+ years of experience in corporate tax, international taxation, or legal professional services
- CPA certification, Attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent designation required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with tax software preferred
- Must have strong analytical, research, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, manage multiple projects, and build and maintain relationships
- Competitive salary range of $150,000 - $400,000 based on qualifications, experience, skills, and location
