Summary:

The Tax Experienced Associate - Internal Partnership Tax Services at Baker Tilly US, LLP is a great opportunity for a talented tax professional to specialize in US individual tax services. This is a permanent placement role with the ability to work remotely and provides partnership tax services including tax preparation, planning, and consulting. The company is an independent member of Baker Tilly International, a worldwide network of independent accounting and business advisory firms with a combined worldwide revenue of billion.

Responsibilities:

- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships
- Participate in tax research projects and draft IRS responses
- Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of flow through taxation
- Develop recommendations and strategize with leadership
- Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices
- Learn and grow through on-the-job coaching and mentoring and firm-wide learning and development programs
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships internally
- Support the growth and development of team members
- Enjoy a work-life balance with friendships, social activities, and team outings

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or related business degree with sufficient coursework and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam
- CPA license preferred
- 1+ year of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm
- Strong skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relationships, collaboration, and problem solving
- Leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Initiative and adaptability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- No immigration sponsorship available

Additional Information:

- For California, Colorado, New York, and Washington: compensation range of $61,070 to $105,480 with eligibility for a bonus plan
