SEO friendly job title: Tax Manager - Private Company (Part-Time) H1: Join Our Team as a Tax Manager - Private Company at RSM H2: Empower Your Career with RSM's Private Company Team Responsibilities: - Advise business owner clients on various tax planning opportunities and compliance requirements. - Manage and oversee engagement teams for various tax entities, including partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations. - Collaborate with RSM specialists on estate and gift planning, state and local taxation, and international taxation. - Provide leadership, training, and career mentorship to team members. - Drive growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors. - Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and law changes. - Review research findings and ensure compliance with firm policies and professional standards. - Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field. - CPA license, . license, or Enrolled Agent certification. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation. - Proficient in entity and individual taxation. - Familiar with fiduciary, gift, and estate taxation. - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team. Preferred Qualifications: - . in taxation or Master's in Taxation. - Experience in private client or business taxation. - Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation. - Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation. - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Experience with international tax matters.
