The Role: Senior Product/Regulatory Counsel

- Responsible for supporting the day-to-day legal requirements of Arta's investment management and financial advisory products
- Lead decision-making on product ideation, launch, and marketing
- Help build and shape the legal team to reach a new generation of wealth management clients
- Assist in managing interactions with regulatory authorities
- Interface with outside counsel

What You Will Do:

- Provide guidance on product development and features
- Manage risks in business operations and decisions
- Assist with new lines of business and financial advisory products
- Work with project development teams to identify potential legal and regulatory issues
- Draft related agreements, policies, and procedures

Who You Are:

- 7+ years of legal practice experience
- Experience with consumer-facing technology and/or financial services companies
- Familiarity with regulators, such as the SEC and FINRA
- Track record of developing practical solutions to novel problems
- Exceptional project management skills
- Ideally based in the Bay area, but open to remote candidates with highly relevant experience
