The role entails drafting and negotiating commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements, and other loan documents, as well as UCC experience and general corporate experience.

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements, and other loan documents.
• Handle Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) matters.
• Provide general corporate legal support.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Assist with due diligence processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members on various legal matters.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of general finance experience.
• High level of academic achievement.
• Solid law firm experience preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
