This is a unique opportunity to work on high profile and high stakes matters for both public entities and private sector clients, with a focus on eminent domain and land acquisition issues. Key Responsibilities: • Handle complex litigation in federal and state courts, including constitutional claims • Assist public entities in obtaining land parcels for important infrastructure and development projects • Work on all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings to trial and appeal • Conduct research, writing and analysis on legal issues • Develop evidence, interview witnesses, and take and defend depositions • Work collaboratively in a team environment • Actively contribute to the Meyers Nave brand and reputation Requirements: • 4 to 7 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on eminent domain preferred but not required • Strong research and writing skills • Excellent academic credentials • Analytical and creative thinking capabilities • Strong work ethic • Experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions • Ability to build a case for trial and conduct trial preparation • Interest in working on public entity-related land acquisition issues in California Benefits and Compensation: • Salary range of $165,000 – $190,000, commensurate with experience and office location • Hybrid work schedule with work from home opportunities • Reasonable billable hours requirement • Annual discretionary and billable hours bonuses • Competitive health insurance benefits • 401(k) with partial match and profit-sharing How to Apply: Interested candidates should CLICK HERE and follow the link to apply.
