Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an experienced Energy Regulatory Associate to join their team. This position is available in any of the firm’s multiple locations across the United States, including their virtual office, The Link. The ideal candidate will have four to five years of energy transactional and/or regulatory litigation and compliance experience. They should have experience handling regulatory and compliance matters before the Texas Public Utility Commission and other state energy regulatory commissions, as well as matters before or involving the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) or other ISO/RTOs or organized power markets. Experience involving advocacy before state utility commissions, or involving power transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, power sales, and related matters, would be beneficial. The candidate must have a strong academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
