A law firm is seeking a qualified Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate Attorney to join its team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate should have:

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate Attorney will counsel clients on government contracts laws and regulations, review and negotiate subcontracts and teaming agreements, and litigate bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims.

Duties:

  • Counsel clients on government contracts, laws, and regulations.
  • Review and negotiate subcontracts and teaming agreements.
  • Litigate bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on government contract matters.

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in government contracts law.
  • High level of academic achievement.
  • Admission to the bar in Washington, DC (preferred).
  • Experience in litigating bid protests is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Skills:

  • Excellent writing, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
