Asbestos Associate Attorney: Opportunity in California for Experienced Litigator

The Law Firm (MG+M) is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join our asbestos practice group in one of our California office locations. This is a regular full-time position with competitive salary and benefits, including a salary range of $115,000 to $195,000 annually.

Job Responsibilities:

- Handle local and national accounts throughout California
- Independently manage a caseload
- Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
- Review and analyze discovery requests
- Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings
- Prepare court filings and service to counsel, including e-filing
- Assist with trial preparation and support
- Maintain accurate time records

Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability

- Admitted to practice in the state of California
- Experience with motion practice and depositions
- Able to take lead in plaintiff and expert depositions
- Capable of independent work
- Organized and efficient
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to multi-task and analyze complex matters
