A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Mid-level Intellectual Property Life Sciences Associate Attorney. The candidate will be responsible for patent prosecution in a biotechnology practice. A strong preference is given to candidates with 1-5 years of experience and an advanced degree, preferably a ., in a life sciences technology area. Patent Bar membership (USPTO Registration Number) is required.

Duties:

• Conduct patent prosecution in the biotechnology practice.
• Draft and prosecute patent applications.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Communicate with clients regarding patent matters.
• Assist with patent portfolio management.
• Provide counseling on intellectual property matters.

Requirements:

• Patent Bar membership (USPTO Registration Number) is required.
• 1-5 years of patent prosecution experience.
