Compliance Product Officer (VP) - Fair Lending - Credit Operations:

- Responsible for assisting with internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation in the Office of Fair Lending.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the fair lending space, advising the US Personal Banking businesses on various aspects relating to fair lending laws and regulations.
- Support operations and customer service functions of credit cards, retail bank, and mortgage lines of business.
- Review operations procedures for fair lending considerations and review business training material.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices for ICRM.
- Provide guidance on rules and regulations relating to fair lending and fairness.
- Assist with regulatory inquiries and/or examinations.
- Review operations procedures for fair lending considerations.
- Monitor and conduct deep dives into complaints to discover trends and opportunities.
- Review areas of agent discretion/judgment and advise businesses on enhancing controls.
- Complete a section of an annual fair lending risk assessment.
- Assist the fair lending analytics team in conducting analytics reviews.
- Collaborate with other internal areas including Legal, Business Management, Operations, Technology, and Finance.
- Appropriately assess risk and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
- Prior experience at a large bank or similar organization, preferably in a Compliance, Legal, or similar function.
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, and have strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate a complex organization and master laws, rules, and regulations.
- Advanced analytical skills and ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge in area of focus.

Education:

- Bachelor's (4 Year University) Degree or equivalent experience required in compliance, legal, or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof with knowledge of fair lending laws and regulations.
- Advanced (MS, MBA, JD, etc.) Degree preferred.

Full-Time Salary Range:

- $142, - $213,
