As a Manager in our Trade Advisory Services team at RSM, you will play a critical role in advising and supporting our corporate clients with their customs, tariffs, and international trade planning and compliance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a rapidly expanding practice and work with both . and international companies. You will be responsible for identifying and communicating compliance risks and cost-savings opportunities, managing multiple client engagements, and developing relationships to generate workflow and expand our services. We are looking for someone with at least six years of import/export experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in another major language is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice to clients on import and export matters in a variety of industries
• Research, analyze, and deliver solutions on complex . and international customs, tariffs, and trade issues
• Assess, identify, and communicate compliance risks and cost-savings opportunities
• Manage and deliver multiple client engagements simultaneously with tight timelines and budgets
• Build and leverage internal and external relationships to generate workflow and develop project portfolio
• Proactively engage clients to support practice growth initiatives and ensure service satisfaction
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to develop staff
• Work within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver services
• Identify additional areas of opportunities such as international tax, state and local tax, VAT, internal audit, and transfer pricing
• Operate nationally to support clients across the .

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• At least six years of import/export experience as a customs/trade consultant in a professional services firm, law firm, corporate, or government setting
• Active Customs Broker License, empowered official, JD and passed Bar exam, CPA, or Master's degree in a related field required
• Proven technical knowledge and experience in export controls and sanctions, customs valuation, origin, marking, entry, Incoterms, and trade agreements
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
