- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to manage time and resources effectively
- Admission to at least one state bar and ability to seek admission in Tennessee

- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, chemical, computer/software)
- Passed the Patent Bar
- Admission to at least one state bar in relevant jurisdiction
