Job Title and Location Temporary Discovery Analyst - Juris Doctorate Required #23-0813 Kansas City, MO Job Description The Temporary Discovery Analyst will assist with litigation document review, analysis, and discovery-related projects at Shook, Hardy & Bacon's Crown Center office. This position offers the opportunity to work with various litigation legal teams on a range of projects, such as compiling and summarizing medical and case information, reviewing client company documents, and drafting pleadings and discovery requests. The work environment is collaborative, inclusive, and respectful. Responsibilities - Compile, review, and summarize medical, scientific, and case information into relevant chronologies or other litigation and discovery-support materials. - Review client company documents for relevance and possible production to opposing counsel. - Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and outlines for document production, deposition, and discovery projects. - Assist with depositions and case and trial work-up by compiling witness notebooks, timelines, exhibits, and summaries. - Draft initial answers, discovery requests, responses to discovery, basic motions, and similar pleadings under the direction of the Shook legal team. Requirements - Juris Doctorate (.) degree. - One to two years of relevant experience. - Missouri Bar license in good standing preferred.
