What you will do: - Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various federal tax compliance and consulting services to BT. - Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships. - Participate in tax research projects and draft IRS responses. - Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of flow through taxation. - Develop recommendations and strategize with leadership. - Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters. - Learn and grow from on-the-job coaching and mentoring. - Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships internally. - Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy. - Enjoy a work-life balance through friendships, social activities, and team outings. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related business field. - Sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state being considered. - CPA license preferred. - 1+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm preferred. - Strong skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relationships, collaboration, and problem solving. - Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. - No immigration sponsorship available. Additional Information: - Compensation range for this role is $61,070 to $105,480 for California, Colorado, New York, and Washington. - Actual compensation is influenced by factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. - This role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus program.
