Responsibilities:

• Manage cases from inception through trial.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, medical professionals, opposing counsel, the Court, and your team to efficiently and effectively resolve cases.
• Investigate claims and gather evidence.
• Document injuries and expenses, and review medical records.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Use strategic thinking to zealously advocate for all clients.
• Manage personnel, including training, coaching, hiring, and discipline.
• Assist with training personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Bar.
• 3+ years of personal injury experience.
• Proficiency in case management software.
• Understanding of medical treatment.
• Ability to act ethically and professionally on behalf of the firm and its clients.
• Collaboration skills to work with all levels of firm personnel and foster a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide and receive information effectively and professionally.
