Venable LLP, an American Lawyer Global 100 law firm headquartered in Washington, ., is seeking a midlevel patent litigation associate with a minimum of five years of experience to join the Intellectual Property Group in the Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, or Washington, . office.

### Qualifications

* 5 years of experience in all phases of patent litigation, including first-chairing depositions, writing expert reports, drafting and arguing motions, drafting infringement/invalidity concerns, and arguing appeals
* Background in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field
* Industry experience is beneficial
* Client focus areas include telecommunications, automotive and other high tech industries
* Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school
* Admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar

### Compensation
The salary range for associate positions is $205,000 to $365,000, depending upon associate level.
