Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Infrastructure Associate Attorney to join its team in Washington, DC. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on construction law matters, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and compliance.
  • Advise clients on project finance law, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for infrastructure projects.
  • Handle public contracting and procurement law issues, offering guidance on bids, contracts, and compliance with government regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Represent clients in court and arbitration proceedings and in front of regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers to mitigate legal risks.
  • Provide strategic advice on project development, financing structures, and risk management.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents, briefs, and memoranda.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of legal experience in construction law, project finance law, and public contracting/procurement law.
  • Current DC Bar admission.
  • Excellent credentials from a top law school.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
