A law firm in Memphis is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle foreclosure and collections matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the foreclosure and collections process, including preparation, review, and approval of pleadings, as well as participation in hearings and client meetings.

 

Duties:

  • Handle foreclosure and collections matters for the firm.
  • Utilize legal knowledge and experience to facilitate the foreclosure and collections process on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare, review, and approve foreclosure and collections related pleadings.
  • Participate in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and provide updates on cases.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate degree.
  • Member in good standing of the Tennessee State Bar.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional client service orientation.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management, and attendance.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, capable of working at a fast pace and multitasking.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Member in good standing of the Tennessee State Bar.
