Job Description:

As a Tax Partner, you will have the opportunity to own and shape the future of our leading financial services tax practice. Your responsibilities will include:

- Establishing and nurturing business relationships to attract new clients and expand services to existing clients.
- Leading the financial institutions industry by maintaining exceptional tax technical knowledge, providing thought leadership, and staying current with tax changes and industry trends.
- Overseeing all aspects of client engagements to ensure tax compliance and providing alternative strategies to lessen tax burden and capitalize on tax credit opportunities.
- Building a high-performing team that cultivates Crowe's culture of collaboration and empowers employees to reach their full potential.
- Partnering with other firm leaders to provide exceptional service to clients and drive revenue growth.
- Optimizing the financial performance of the banking practice by managing budgetary and time constraints, implementing process improvements, and allocating resources effectively.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting required, masters or advanced degree desirable
- Certified Public Accountant or JD required
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive tax experience, including experience in a professional services firm serving financial institutions clients
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
- Innovative and forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in building and sustaining clients and teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to strategically plan for growth, innovation, and exceptional client service
- Ability to cross-sell firm services to existing client base while adhering to independence standards
