Legal Office Assistant DUTIES: Perform complex clerical duties; Answer multi-line telephones and appropriately respond to inquiries and transfer calls; Greet and assist visitors; Use independent judgment in resolving difficult situations; Perform basic office functions; Process legal documents in compliance with AGO guidelines and procedures; Coordinate, maintain and use calendaring software for scheduling conference room and vehicle reservations; Process incoming and outgoing . mail, UPS mail and FedEx mail; Scan Incoming mail and delivers mail to each division; Independently perform a large variety of functions in response to work requests from 14 divisions within the Seattle office; Use of multi-function device, color multi-function device, mail machine, fax machine, velo binder, comb binder, audio/video equipment, etc.; Perform audio/visual scheduling; Maintain knowledge of Seattle Office Security procedures and acts as Floor Warden.

Qualification and Experience QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of clerical experience including a minimum of six months of experience in a legal office environment; or 1+ years of legal office experience; or a combination of 2+ years of college education and/or relevant experience; or a two-year degree in Legal Secretary Studies, Paralegal studies or related field of study.
