Qualifications:
- To be considered for this position, you must have active membership in the State Bar of California or be a post law school graduate.
- We are looking for candidates with experience working with vulnerable populations, such as people with mental health disabilities, people of color, low-income individuals or families, people with substance use disorders, people with a history of homelessness or incarceration, and people in the LGBTQIA+ community.
- A strong commitment to public service and social justice is essential, as well as a positive attitude and cooperative approach to lawyering.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills are required, and bilingual or proficient Spanish skills are preferred.
- Experience in litigation, negotiation, and mediation is also a plus.
