## Experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney at Law Firm

Law Firm is looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their team in their downtown New Orleans office. The ideal candidate will have substantial trial experience and be licensed to practice law in Louisiana.

**Job Responsibilities:**
- Handle a variety of practices, including construction, oil & gas, maritime and general commercial litigation
- Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings
- Draft legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Research laws and regulations to determine how they apply to specific cases
- Negotiate settlements between parties
- Advise clients on legal matters and help them to make informed decisions

**Qualifications:**
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Louisiana State Bar
- Substantial trial experience
- Knowledge of civil and criminal law
- Ability to interpret laws, regulations, and legal documents
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
