The law firm, Kirkland, is currently looking for highly qualified attorneys to join their Technology & IP Transactions group in New York, Chicago, the Bay Area, or Salt Lake City. This is an exciting opportunity for associates with four to six years of experience in technology and IP-intensive transactions or other relevant experience. The firm offers a diverse range of transactional work, including domestic and international deals for public and private companies in various industries such as software, pharma and life sciences, consumer products, and media and entertainment. Associates will have the chance to work on a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, software and systems agreements, outsourcing, R&D agreements, collaboration agreements, licenses (patent, trademark, copyright, and data/databases), and other commercial agreements. A technical degree is not required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and negotiating various technology and IP-related agreements
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex legal issues
- Collaborate with clients and other attorneys to develop strategies and solutions for their business needs
- Participate in business development activities, including client pitches and presentations
- Mentor and supervise junior associates and paralegals

Qualifications:
- Four to six years of experience in technology and IP-intensive transactions or other relevant experience
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials
- Admission to the state bar in the location of the desired office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
