Organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Attorney to join their Immigration Legal Services Program (ILSP). This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $89,000 annually, based on experience. The School Attorney will be responsible for conducting initial intakes, providing in-depth evaluations, and offering legal advice to potential clients. They will also represent clients in removal proceedings and maintain a caseload assigned by funders. This role requires a Juris Doctor degree and admission to the NY Bar, with fluency in Spanish or another language strongly preferred. The School Attorney should have experience in family and/or immigration law, as well as a demonstrated commitment to public interest law and children's issues. They should also possess excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills, as well as the ability to travel throughout the five boroughs and Long Island.
