Responsibilities:

- Advise multinational enterprises on . inbound tax planning, including anticipating and understanding potential consequences and considerations
- Structure tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs
- Assist with tax provision preparation and compliance work
- Guide clients on income tax treaty planning opportunities
- Provide alternative investment companies with guidance on structuring investments, including real estate, infrastructure, and private equity
- Oversee tax-exempt investors on challenges and opportunities of investing in the .

Qualifications:

- Minimum of three years of experience in . international, mergers and acquisitions, or federal tax planning
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Taxation, JD, or LLM preferred
- Must work in KPMG's International Tax practice office in Singapore
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; Mandarin or Cantonese language skills preferred
- Knowledge of . international and domestic tax law
- Strong research, writing, Excel modeling, and communication skills
