A law firm in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their team. The Pre-Litigation Attorney will play a crucial role in evaluating personal injury cases, providing legal counsel to clients, and negotiating settlements during the pre-litigation stage. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage a substantial caseload effectively.

Job Duties:

• Supervise and provide direction to a team of staff members.
• Evaluate the merits of personal injury cases to determine their potential for legal action.
• Provide guidance and counsel to clients throughout the pre-litigation process.
• Conduct medical case reviews to assess the extent of injuries and damages.
• Conduct thorough research and legal analysis to support case assessments.
• Negotiate and authorize settlements in the pre-litigation stage, advocating for the best interests of clients.

Requirements:

• A license in good standing to practice law in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with client contact and/or negotiation experience.
• Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle a large and active caseload, prioritizing client representation and customer service.
• Excellent investigator and problem-solver skills.
• Proven success in providing direction and guidance to a team.
• Formidable negotiation skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida State Bar Association.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and analysis.
