Legal Services of New Jersey (LSNJ), a statewide non-profit organization based in Edison, is seeking a passionate and dedicated attorney to join our Health Care Access Project (HCAP). This is an exciting opportunity to provide civil legal assistance to low-income individuals and families in New Jersey, and make a positive impact on their lives.

HCAP offers direct representation to health care consumers throughout the state, advocating with state and federal agencies and engaging in impact litigation when necessary. We are looking for someone who is interested in both working closely with individual clients and engaging in policy work. Training will be provided for those without experience in Medicaid, and Spanish fluency is a plus.

At HCAP, our goal is to ensure that low-income New Jersey residents have access to the health care they need to live healthy lives. With the increased recognition of the importance of equity in health care access due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are looking to expand our capacity for this important work.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues
