Position Summary:

Brock & Scott, PLLC is seeking an Associate Attorney with 0-4 years of experience in civil litigation and trial work, specifically in the areas of debt collection, foreclosure, and creditor rights. The ideal candidate will be a member in good standing of the Georgia bar and have a strong work ethic, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and the ability to handle a high-volume caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all legal processes from inception through post judgment remedies
• Provide high-quality legal representation and effective communication to all clients
• Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases
• Travel to various courts within the state for legal proceedings and hearings
• Work with Managing Attorney to report all activity and results

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of the Georgia bar
• 0-4 years of practice experience in civil litigation and trial work
• Experience in debt collection, foreclosure, and creditor rights preferred
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Suite and case management software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Excellent time management skills
• Skilled in analyzing case law and providing recommendations
• Team player with a strong work ethic

Salary Information:

• Competitive salary based on experience
• Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $2500
