## Contracts Manager, Consumer Health

### Job Description
Amazon’s Legal Department is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to support its healthcare technology efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating technology development statements of work, identifying key risks and gaps in underlying contracts, responding promptly and accurately to business requests for legal advice, and developing and maintaining contract templates, training materials, and standard operating procedures.

### Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate technology development statements of work (SOW) and other contracts
- Identify key risks/gaps in underlying contracts and recommend changes
- Respond promptly, accurately, and crisply with minimal supervision to business requests for legal advice
- Develop and maintain: contract templates, training materials on contracting, confidentiality, company policies, standard operating procedures for contracting processes and track associated metrics

### Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of contracts management, transactional paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department

### Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts
- In-house contracts management experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many simultaneous workstreams, clients, and projects
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Sound and practical business judgment

### Location
The successful candidate can work out of one of the following locations:
- Arlington, VA, USA
- New York, NY, USA
- Seattle, WA, USA

### Compensation
Amazon offers a competitive salary based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $146,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
